primary septorhinoplasty plus turbinoplasty

(07/06/2023)

Patient with left laterorrhinia, septodeviation, nasal dorsum hump, unsupported tip, hanging columella, nasal fracture on left side with depression, broad alar base

WHAT DID WE ACHIEVE?

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO HAVE THE SURGERY?

Mainly it was a functional issue, the doctor is an Otorhinologist, which gave me peace of mind that the functional part would be fine, but as I mentioned, seeing the results of the person who worked with me, who was a man, I think that I as a man did not want to have results that would modify the aesthetics of my face too much. I felt reassured that the result was going to be a very natural result and indeed it was.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE RESULT?

Satisfied. Many people do not notice it, which is good, but the people who notice it and I notice it, I do see a quite important change in my profile, both in my nose and in my chin, because they were the two surgeries I had. It was the first surgery I underwent. I had never had surgery before, it was a new experience. Obviously, one is with a lot of bandages on the face, so one cannot really perceive the change, but the experience in general in the surgery and in the previous process was very good. The doctor was there from the first moment, the doctor was at the exit. I felt very calm and the recovery was excellent.
