PROCEDURE

An initial evaluation will be performed; prior to surgery, you will have an initial consultation. During this consultation, your goals and expectations will be discussed, and the structure of your ears will be evaluated to determine the most appropriate approach for each case.

Once the desired shape and position of the ears is achieved, the incisions are sutured. These sutures will hold the ears in their new position and promote proper healing, at the end of the procedure a bandage is left in place which is usually removed the day after surgery, once the bandage is removed the patient must wear a band around the head to keep the ears in place during the recovery process.. After surgery, it is essential to follow the postoperative care instructions provided. Recovery is usually quick, but it is important to avoid strenuous activities and protect the ears from injury during the healing process.
